Iowa Book Festival - April 26, 2008

The 2nd annual Iowa Book Festival will be held in Adel on Saturday, April 26, 2008. This unique festival will showcase and celebrate the book and the joy of reading. Children's activities, presentations by Iowa writers & poets, workshops, a book swap meet and many other fun events.

Brick Street Classic Car Show - June 7, 2008

The Brick Street Classic Car Show is rapidly becoming a major event in Adel. The show is held on and around the historic Courthouse Square and features many classic cars from all over Iowa. Special events and live entertainment are being planned for 2008.

Raccoon Valley Wine Festival - Saturday, July 5, 2008

In 2007, Adel Partners coordinated the first-ever wine festival in Adel. The event was so popular, we are doing it again! Iowa wineries will be invited to share their products and the second of a series of commemorative wine glasses will be available. Live entertainment and quality food rounds out this festival.

Adel Sweet Corn Festival – Saturday, August 9, 2008

The 29th Annual Adel Sweet Corn Festival will offer 7 tons of FREE sweet corn, craft and food vendors, a parade, live entertainment, many children’s activities and an evening beer garden & street dance. The day will be started by the Sweet Corn 5K Run, which is open to all runners and spectators.
